UNCOMN Makes the Inc. 5000 List for the 4th Year Straight

Inc. magazine today revealed its annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, and UNCOMN is proud to announce that we’ve made the list for the fourth straight year! According to James Ledbetter, Inc. Media Editor in Chief, a mere one in thirteen of Inc’s tens of thousands of applicants to date have made the list four times.

“The challenge is now on for making the Inc 5000 Honor Roll next year, reserved for the rarest companies that can sustain nationally-ranked growth over a five-year period. Based on our 2019 numbers-to-date, I think we’re up to that challenge,” said UNCOMN founder and President, Jason Carter.

The Inc 5000 list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

UNCOMN’s team of data scientists, business architects, systems engineers, and solution agilists develop elegant business solutions for our clients. We’re always on the prowl for cool new projects on which to work and for new uncommon geniuses to add to our rapidly-growing team. We attribute our sustained rapid growth to our authentic corporate culture reflected in our values of Cultivating Beauty, Loving the Problem, Being and Doing More, Celebrating Uncommon Genius, and Prioritizing People.

Methodology

The 2019 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2015 and 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2018. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2015 is $100,000; the minimum for 2018 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.
